This was an exercise in revising an existing background storyboard from AN AMERICAN TAIL into an entirely different style -- in this case, drawn in the style of Friz Freleng's backgrounds for Looney Toons and Tom and Jerry. The perspective is nonsensical and warped, angles are skewed, and the lighting is more expressionist.
